Our bilateral business meetings event, which was first launched in 2013 during the “Eastern Marmara Industry and Technology Fair” in cooperation with the Turkish Naval Forces Command and ASELSAN, continued for six years under the coordination of the Ministry of National Defense. During this period, the Turkish Naval Forces Command, the Directorate General of Shipyards, the Directorate General of Military Factories, and all defense industry foundation companies participated in the meetings. We facilitated one-on-one business meetings between senior procurement executives from defense industry companies and our member companies that are potential suppliers, enabling discussions on the domestic supply of products that were previously imported.

Since 2021, we have been organizing the “Provincial Defense Industry Meeting” under the leadership of the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB), with the participation of all foundation companies. Most recently, on November 13–14, 2024, we held the “Provincial Defense Industry Meeting” in our new service building, with the esteemed participation of the President of Defense Industries, Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün, and senior representatives from defense industry foundation companies.

During the event, representatives from the Presidency of Defense Industries, the Ministry of National Defense Directorate General of Military Factories, ASELSAN, Mechanical and Chemical Industry Inc. (MKE), ROKETSAN, HAVELSAN, Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ), TEI, STM, ASFAT, TÜBİTAK SAGE, BMC, and FNSS came together with our member companies that are candidate suppliers. One-on-one meetings were held, providing valuable information regarding procurement processes and cooperation opportunities.

Having become a tradition, we will continue to organize this event in collaboration with the Presidency of Defense Industries, the Ministry of National Defense’s Directorate General of Shipyards and Directorate General of Military Factories, and the main contractor foundation companies.
