The first stop of the “Trade and Investment Opportunities in the UAE – Türkiye Industrial Cities Roadshow 2026”, organized with the participation of the UAE Ministry of Investment and leading investment institutions of the United Arab Emirates, was held in Kocaeli Chamber of Industry.
The event coordinated by Kocaeli Chamber of Industry in the partnership with Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Ankara. It has brought together representatives manufacturing companies in Kocaeli with key UAE-based investment and business institutions.
Hosted by Kocaeli Chamber of Industry (KCI) Chairman Ayhan Zeytinoğlu, the forum was attended by H.E. Saeed Thani Hareb Al Dhaheri, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Ankara, alongside representatives from the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), KEZAD Group, and a delegation representing 13 UAE institutions and companies.
The visiting delegation included organizations and companies operating across a broad range of sectors including investment promotion, industrial zones and logistics, industrial manufacturing, engineering, healthcare, food and agriculture, packaging, retail, consumer goods, construction materials, food production, and diversified investments. Participation was represented by institutions and companies including ADIO, Invest UAE, KEZAD Group, Al Khayyat Investments, Exeed Industries, ALEC Holdings, Danube Holding, Al Mazroui Group, Americana, Ghitha Holding, Bayara, SNH Packing General Trading LLC, and Anatolia Foodstuff Trading (MarasTurka).
In his opening remarks, Ayhan Zeytinoğlu highlighted Kocaeli’s strategic role as one of Türkiye’s leading industrial and export centres, emphasizing the province’s advanced manufacturing base, organized industrial zones, logistics capacity, and strong infrastructure. It was underlined that the strengthening economic relations between Türkiye and the United Arab Emirates are creating new opportunities for industrial cooperation, trade, and long-term investment partnerships.
Addressing the forum, Ambassador Saeed Thani Hareb Al Dhaheri emphasized the growing momentum in bilateral economic relations and highlighted the importance of strengthening direct engagement between Turkish manufacturers and Emirati investors. The industrial roadshow covering key production centres including Kocaeli, Bursa, İzmir, Konya, and Gaziantep.
Presentations were delivered on Abu Dhabi’s evolving investment ecosystem, industrial transformation agenda, and global connectivity. Representatives of the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) and KEZAD Group shared insights into Abu Dhabi’s investment environment, incentive mechanisms, and strategic position as a gateway connecting Europe, Asia, and Africa.
Following the presentations, 120 bilateral business meetings (B2B) were held between Kocaeli-based companies and the UAE delegation. Potential areas of cooperation and investment were explored.
