The introductions about Bulgaria’s Plovdiv and Burgas regions and Bulgarian & Turkish companies business meetings were held in cooperation with Kocaeli Chamber of Industry and The Commercial Attaché of Bulgarian General Consulate in Istanbul on June 11, 2014.
The delegation that were headed by the Commercial Attaché Mr. Stefan Arnaudova, also visited the Kocaeli Greater Municipality, KOSBAS (Kocaeli Free Zone) and Yachtley company and obtained information. In the Kocaeli Chamber of Industry section of the programme, Plovdiv region and the business opportunities in Plovdiv region were told by the Deputy Governor of Plovdiv Mrs. Ivanka Petkova, Parvomaj Mayor Mr. Angel Papazov, Maritsa Mayor Mr. Dimitar Ivanov and Tracia Economic Zone Authority Mr. Suleyman Faik Korkmaz. In the second part, Burgas’ region’s business opportunities were introduced by the Deputy Governor of Burgas Mr. Yuseiyn Mehmed, the Bulgarian state company “Port Infrastructure”s Deputy CEO Mr. Aleksander Aleksandrov, Deputy Mayor of Burgas Mr. Krasimir Stoytchev.
After the presentations, business meetings between the Bulgarian & Turkish companies were organized. Within the context of the programme, 11 business meetings were made.
