 Turning our attention to the commercial scene, we note that something in the region of 45,000 trading establishments exist within the province. By virtue of the large-scale enterprises, hypermarkets and malls (eg: Belsa Plaza, CarrefourSA, Migros, the Outlet Centre and Özdilek) which are so much a feature of the area, the interests of the consumer are catered for, and progress on the commercial front is thereby guaranteed. Below is a year-on-year record of new business-registrations with the Chamber of Commerce.
