The project, “Contributing to Sustainability in the Region by Creating Cooperation Between Chambers Through a Cluster Focused on Twin Transition,” is led by the Kocaeli Chamber of Industry in partnership with the Bartın Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the Brno Regional Chamber of Commerce.
This project which has been funded by the Türkiye–EU Business Dialogue II (TEBD-II) grant program, supported by Eurochambres. implemented from January 15, 2026, to April 15, 2027.
The project aims to increase the sustainability and competitiveness of the regional manufacturing industry in Brno, Bartın and Kocaeli provinces by supporting clustering activities, strengthening the foreign trade capacities of local businesses, and facilitating their adaptation to the EU’s twin transition (green and digital) process.
A variety of activities will be organized to build capacity, provide professional services, and establish long-term partnerships between the Chambers. Through a dedicated mentoring program, the Brno Regional Chamber of Commerce will share its best practices regarding clustering with the Kocaeli Chamber of Industry (KSO). A total of 17 industrial companies from the aluminum and steel sectors (members of the Kocaeli and Bartın Chambers) will participate.
The project includes the following activities:
- Research: Conducting a clustering needs analysis and creating a strategic roadmap.
- Consultancy: Providing carbon footprint measurements and digital maturity assessments.
- Training: Offering courses on Project Cycle Management (PCM) and digital transformation.
- Seminars: Hosting sessions on climate change and digitalization.
- Communication: Carrying out activities to share and promote project results.
- Study Visits: Organizing B2B meetings and a visit to the MSV International Engineering Fair in Brno, Czech Republic.
