The companies also explored opportunities for technology transfer and joint ventures with Turkish industry representatives, with discussions touching on the alignment of both countries’ industrial sectors with the European Green Deal and net-zero carbon targets.

Speaking at the opening of the meeting, KCI Secretary General Memet Barış Turabi shared key regional industrial figures and said “This visit by Polish green technology firms is highly valuable in creating strong synergy between our region’s production capacity and Poland’s sustainable solutions.”

Joanna Zdanowska from the Polish Ministry of Climate and Environment remarked, “Our goal is not only to establish trade connections, but also to build long-term partnerships that support the energy transition and help reduce the environmental footprint of Kocaeli’s innovative industry.”

Piotr Firlus, Economic Counsellor at the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Istanbul, emphasized the diplomatic significance of the visit, stating, “This visit is a clear indicator of the growing cooperation between Poland and Türkiye in the field of sustainability. As the Consulate, we are pleased to support such initiatives that bring the two countries closer together through innovation, environmental responsibility, and economic collaboration.”

Joanna Snopek Berbercioğlu, Head of the Istanbul Office of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH), underlined the business potential of the partnership, saying, “There is strong demand for green technologies and sustainable infrastructure in Türkiye.
