Dmitri Croitor, Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to Ankara, who was the guest of the online meeting held under the coordination of Kocaeli Chamber of Industry and Kocaeli Chamber of Commerce, invited business people to invest in Moldova.

The “Moldova Trade and Investment Opportunities Meeting” was organised jointly by the Kocaeli Chamber of Industry (KCI) and Kocaeli Chamber of Commerce (KCC) and was held online with the participation of Ambassador Croitor. At the meeting hosted by KSO President Ayhan Zeytinoğlu and Kocaeli Chamber of Commerce President Necmi Bulut, Ambassador Croitor talked about the opportunities they offer to investors in Moldova and stated that they aim to increase the trade volume between Turkey and Moldova and invited Turkish business people to invest in their country.

Bart van Bolhuis, Consul General of Netherlands visited the Kocaeli Chamber of Industry on June 21, 2019. The Consul General was hosted by the KCI Chairman Ayhan Zeytinoglu. Commercial Specialist Mustafa Basaran, Mitchel Vrouwe from the Department of Economics also took part in the Consul’s delegation and they were given a presentation about the Kocaeli industry.

On April 16, 2019, Tuesday, the Select USA programme was introduced at the Kocaeli Chamber Of Industry by the USA Consulate General in Istanbul.
The Select USA Programme is a programme that offers the advantages of investing in the USA and provides free consultancy services to Turkish companies.
The USA Consulate General in Istanbul’s Commercial Office authorities attended the presentation as speakers. Both this programme and the Select USA Summit which is going to be held on June 10 – June 12, 2019 in the USA, Washington and the USA visas were introduced to the participants.
The presentation with the intense participation ended with a question-answer session.

Zsofia Kakas, Commercial Attache of The Hungarian Consulate General in Istanbul, visited the Kocaeli Chamber of Industry on 5 April 2019 Friday. ALX Hungary foundation authorities also took part in the organization. The delegation were hosted by the KCI Vice Chairman Cinar Ulusoy and also an information was given about Kocaeli industry as well as mutual cooperations were discussed.

Jennifer L. Davis, Consul General of the United States of America visited the Kocaeli Chamber of Industry on February 26, 2019. Deputy Consul General Erol Ozakçay, Commercial Attache John Coronado and Deputy Commercial Attache Perim Akguner took part in the delegation of the Consul General. The delegation were welcomed by The KCI Chairman Ayhan Zeytinoglu and they were given a presentation about the Kocaeli industry.

NRW.INVEST Turkey which is the economic development agency of Germany organized a seminar at The  Kocaeli Chamber of Industry, on February 5, 2019 about Germany’s North Rhine-Westphalia state including Dusseldorf, Cologne, Duisburg, Essen cities.
In the seminar, the opening speech of The Kocaeli Chamber of Industry was made by Cinar Ulusoy, Vice Chairman of The Board of Directors. Guest lecturers who are experts in the related subjects participated in the seminar and introduced the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. The information about the strategic advantages of structuring, the legal framework of investment and corporatization in North Rhine-Westphalia, process, operation, the tax framework of corporation in North Rhine-Westphalia, SME incentives provided to investors in North Rhine-Westphalia, domestic grants provided by Turkey for those wishing to operate companies or branches outside of Turkey, the opportunities offered by North Rhine-Westphalia with investors eye subjects were given.
The seminar was held in two separate sections and ended with a question-answer session.

Match4Industry Business Matching Event was held on 31st October and 1st of November at the SANTEK Industry and Technology Fair in Kocaeli, Turkey.
93 Turkish and 130 foreign representatives from 17 countries took part in the event and 749 meetings were realised during the event. Company authorities from 17 different countries, including Spain, Britain, France, Russia, Belarus, Lithuania, Malta, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Kosovo, Tunisia, Iraq and Mongolia attended the event.
In the scope of the event, site visits were organized to The Our Village Production Center For The Disabled, The Hyundai, Ford factories and The Gebze Organized Industrial Zone.

Sri Lanka seminar was held at The Kocaeli Chamber of Industry’s Izmit Central Office on November 14, 2018 Wednesday. At the seminar, Sri Lanka – Turkey Trade Relations, Sri Lanka Market, Trade Agreements with Sri Lanka and Logistical Advantages were told by the Sri Lanka’s Ambassador in Ankara; Mr. Pakeer Mohideen Amza. The Ambassador and the seminar participants were also given a presentation about the Kocaeli industry by The KCI’s Board Of Directors Member Atalay Kaya.

Germany’s Saarland state seminar was held at The Kocaeli Chamber of Industry’s Izmit Central Office on October 18, 2018 Thursday. At the seminar, what this economy region offers to companies, how it can support companies in expanding their business districts and what to consider when establishing a company in Germany topics were told by lawyers; Rasim Akkaya, Dr. Menderes Gunes and Marketing Manager Anja Petschauer.
