A Kosovo delegation that was leaded by Mitrovica region’s Mayor Avni Kastrati visited Kocaeli Chamber Of Industry on 11th of March. The delegation was welcomed by the Deputy Chairman Of The Board Ahmet Basaran and he made an opening speech to the delegation. He told that close friendships improve with the bilateral trade agreements. Kosovan Mayor also made a speech and mentioned about both countries’ friendship that goes to ancient history and designated that they try to improve this relation. After both Chairmans’ speeches, Kocaeli Chamber Of Industry’s Secretary General presented a presentation about Kocaeli industry.
After the welcoming, Turkish-Kosovan companies business meetings were actualized with the cooperation of Kocaeli Chamber Of Industry, Dogu Marmara ABIGEM and Kosovo Pristina Business Agency. Related to the bilateral meetings, 15 Kosovan companies which show activity in electricity&electronics, boxing, chemistry, metal, furniture, food, textile, forest products and construction hold nearly 50 business meetings with Turkish companies.
Mitrovica Mayor Avni Kastrati visited Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Zekeriya Ozak at his competent office and they evaluated the cooperation potentials between the Municipalities.
